How to choose between them
- Check the bookmaker list against your accounts. A price at a book you cannot bet into is worth nothing, and this alone settles most comparisons — particularly US against European tools.
- Decide whether you want arbitrage or value. Arbitrage is a numbers game and rewards broad coverage. Value betting depends on one accurate reference line, so depth matters more than count. See value betting and arbitrage betting for what each actually involves.
- Ask whether you need in-play. Several established tools are pre-match only, and it is the most common reason people switch.
- Find out how the fair price is calculated. A tool that will not say what its reference is, or which de-vig method it uses, is asking you to trust a number you cannot check.
- Confirm it tracks closing line value. Without it you cannot tell whether your edges were real for hundreds of bets. Why CLV matters.
