Expired bets tell the whole story

- Upcoming fixtures always sort above finished ones, whatever sort you pick.
- The tab's count and its list finally agree — no more phantom rows the badge counted but you could never see.
Seven more arbitrage markets
- Per-half Both Teams To Score, second-half totals and the second-half result join the arbitrage scan across all four soft books.
- Tennis set spreads and games spreads — kept strictly apart, with retirement rules deciding which books may pair.
- Basketball first-half moneyline, with books that price a half-time tie differently excluded from each other.

A wider arbitrage net
- Sub-half-percent arbs now make the list — the recording floor drops to 0.25%, where measurement says the only extra honest rows live.
- Slower books' prices count for up to six minutes when an arb first forms; every candidate is still re-checked against fresh prices within seconds, so a dead one dims as fast as ever.
bwin joins the book set
- Sixth book, fifth soft target — soccer, tennis and basketball with live coverage, and a genuine soccer Asian handicap most books don't quote.
- Its tennis settlement matches Pinnacle's and BetMGM's, widening the tennis arbitrage class to three books.
- Every market wave shipped this month applies from day one: per-half totals and BTTS, spreads, tennis set and games handicaps.
Whole-number goal totals were faking value
- Bet365 prices whole-number totals three ways — over, exactly N, under — while Pinnacle's whole-number line is a two-way goal line that pushes on N. Reading two legs of the three as a complete market invented edges that were never there.
- Every totals line is now checked for a complete set of outcomes before it is priced, so a market missing a leg is dropped rather than compared. Half lines and genuine two-way whole lines are untouched.
- If you took an Over/Under bet on a whole number — 2, 3, 4 goals — against Bet365 recently, it was not the edge it appeared to be. Half lines (2.5, 3.5) were never affected.
Expired bets stop pretending to be live once the match starts
- An expired bet whose match had already kicked off still showed a price badged "now", with an EV and a price move to match. Those figures stop updating at kickoff, so a day-old row was showing its kickoff-time price as the current one.
- Past kickoff the card now shows what the bet actually was — the price it was found at and the edge it had — with closing line value beside it. Before kickoff the live price is unchanged, which is when it is worth having.
The dashboard only downloads the bets you asked for
- Your filter is applied on the server now, so the board arrives already narrowed instead of shipping every open bet for your browser to hide. On a tight filter that is most of the payload gone, on every refresh, on every tab you have open.
- The subtab badge still shows what is hidden — "5/247" — because the total is counted server-side before the filter runs, and the sport and bookmaker dropdowns still offer everything you filtered out.
The arbitrage pages answer your filter, not everyone's
- Your filter — bookmakers included — now travels with every refresh and is answered by the server, so each tick delivers exactly the arbs your books support, re-priced over them. Before, the recomputation happened only in your browser over whatever rows everyone got.
- Tennis arbs are listed per settlement class now. When a Pinnacle-class arb and a Stake/bet365-class arb exist on the same match, both show — previously only the bigger one was kept, so readers holding the other pair of books never saw theirs.
- The empty state can finally tell the difference between "nothing matches your filters" and "nothing is open", and the dropdowns keep offering everything you filtered out.
Tennis and basketball arbs stop being crowded out
- The arbitrage list keeps its most recent 50 rows, and soccer alone can fill all 50 — its totals lines are that numerous. A tennis or basketball arb was being found and then pushed out within seconds, so the page looked like it only covered soccer.
- Each sport now keeps its freshest rows before the cut, so a rarer sport's arbs live their full natural life on the page. Soccer still uses every slot the others don't need.
The Expired tab was hiding every upcoming bet
- Expired keeps a bet visible for a day after its match starts, so a bet you were watching doesn't vanish between the whistle and its result. Those day-old records had quietly grown past the number of rows the tab loads at once — filling it entirely, so the tab served nothing but yesterday's matches while the badge counted thousands more.
- Measured on the live board the morning this was found: 5,417 expired bets, of which the 3,425 with a kickoff still ahead were unreachable. Upcoming bets now load first and the day-old records sit behind them, which is the order the tab already displayed them in.
The dashboard does a fraction of the work per refresh
- Every refresh re-read the whole bet archive to answer a question about a few hundred open bets — and re-computed the same four headline figures, identical for everyone, once per open tab. Both are gone: the board's read now touches 345 records instead of 24,313, and the figures are computed once and shared.
- The bet list was also sorted with an algorithm whose cost grows with the square of the list. On the Expired tab that had reached a quarter of a second of pure sorting per refresh; it is now a few milliseconds.
Alerts were skipping one value bet in ten
- The alerter loaded a fixed number of the most recently FOUND bets and then kept the ones still live. But a bet's found-time never changes, and expired bets outnumber live ones roughly ten to one — so the allowance was spent almost entirely on bets that were then thrown away, and anything that had been on the board a while fell off the end.
- Measured on the live board: 35 of 348 open value bets could not alert, the largest at 13% edge. The alerter now loads live bets only, so a bet stays alertable for as long as it stays +EV.
